How we handle your information.
Your privacy matters. Here is how Quantide collects, uses and safeguards your information — in plain language, and in full compliance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
We collect what you give us through the contact form, a consultation booking or a newsletter sign-up, plus standard technical information about your visit through cookies and analytics.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as is needed to deliver what you asked for.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@quantide.co.za and we will answer.

Who we are
Quantide (“we”, “us”) is a South African digital studio. You can contact us at admin@quantide.co.za or 072 759 9160.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”).
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly — such as your name, email, phone number, business name, and any content you submit through our contact form, consultation booking or newsletter sign-up.
We also collect technical information automatically when you visit our site, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed and timestamps. This is collected via cookies and analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4 and similar).
When we run advertising campaigns on your behalf, we may process audience data provided by platforms such as TikTok, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google and the WhatsApp Business API, strictly for campaign delivery and reporting.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have requested.
- To schedule and deliver consultations, proposals and ongoing marketing services.
- To send you relevant updates, newsletters and educational content — only where you have opted in, and with an easy opt-out in every message.
- To improve our website, services and marketing performance.
- To meet legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal information based on one or more of the following lawful grounds under POPIA: your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as improving our services), or compliance with a legal obligation.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business — such as hosting providers, email platforms, analytics tools, CRMs and advertising platforms — and only to the extent necessary to deliver the services you have engaged us for.
We require these providers to protect your information and to process it only for the purposes we specify.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes it was collected, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When no longer required, information is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to request deletion, to object to processing for direct marketing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@quantide.co.za. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with POPIA.
You can reach the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za, or by email at complaints.IR@justice.gov.za for complaints and enquiries@inforegulator.org.za for general enquiries.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No system is 100% secure, but we work continually to maintain a high standard of protection.
Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies required for it to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work correctly without them.
Children
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
